Script upload means you send Acting Pal a PDF of your sides and it extracts the dialogue and the character list for you, so a scene is ready to rehearse in seconds rather than being retyped.

AI reader voices

Acting Pal's AI reader voices are 106 lifelike synthetic voices, spanning 20 accents and a range of genders and ages, that you assign character by character to read every role but your own.

Local storage

Local storage means the scripts you create inside Acting Pal stay on your device by default, so an unreleased script never has to leave your phone to be rehearsed.

Cue & non-stop modes

Cue mode listens to you as you speak and plays the next character's line the moment you finish yours, so the scene runs at your pace. Non-stop mode instead leaves a timed break in place of your line, giving you a set — and easily adjustable — window to deliver.

Teleprompter

The in-built teleprompter scrolls your script on screen while you record, so you can hold your eyeline on the lens instead of looking down at a page (Android only).

Self-tapes
